SPECIAL AREAS VISITED

Their Majesties devoted the greater part of this morning to a tour of special areas in the Tyneside and northeastern district. They paid an extended visit to the Team Valley Trading Estate outside Newcastle where v encouragement has been given to the: establishment of light industries. Since the development of the site began in October, 1936, a considerable number of factories has been established, employing over 2000 men.
