BIBLE SOCIETY MEETING

An attractive programme will be presented at the annual meeting of the British and Foreign Bible Society on Monday night. Mrs. C. Gibson Young, of The Terrace Congregational Church, will produce a religious pageant," entitled "The Rock," by S. T. Eliot. The Island Bay Methodist Choir, which gained distinction in the recent Wellington East Choir" Festival, will sing "Hearken Unto Me," by Cuthbert Harris, and a hymn study, "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty." The Scripture portions will be recited by members of the Wellington North Versespeaking Choir.

Brass rubbed once a week with a flannel moistened with sewing-machine oil will not tarnish.
