HATAITAI CIRCLE

RESIDENTIAL NURSERY

The Hataitai Circle of the Residential Nursery held a "Musical Afternoon" at the home of Mrs. C. W. A. Peterson, Rakau Road, recently.

The chief guest was Mrs. Porter, who gave much pleasure with an interesting address on "The Aims and. Objects of the Residential Nursery" and thanked all present for their efforts during the year. An amusing competition was won by Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Binnie, and Mrs. Laing.

The entertainers were Mrs. Smith (songs), Miss Beveridge, and little, Renai Gage. They were all accompanied by Mrs. Anderson. Mrs. Sherwood and Mrs. Binine also gave recitations.

Mrs. Dod Coates (president) presented sprays of flowers to Mrs. Porter, Mrs. Peterson, and artists, and thanked Mrs. Norrie for her work as secretary and Mrs. Peterson for the use of her home.

Among the guests were Mesdames Porter, Petersen, Norrie, Sherwood, Binnie. Laing, Wray, Drake, Edwards, Ross, Taplin, Lovatt, Hutchinson, Ayling, Adam, Miller, Adam, Jansen, Coates, Jack, Smith, Anderson, and Misses Stewart, Beveridge, Forbes, and Gage.

A delicious home-made afternoon tea was served.
