Her Excellency Lady Galway was present at the Heretaunga Golf Club tournament this afternoon and afterwards presented the prizes. This evening their Excellencies will leave Wellington by the Limited express for Hamilton, where his Excellency will perform the opening ceremony of the 1938 Royal Show tat morrow. Canon E. H. Strong, warden of St John's College, Auckland, who will relinquish that position at the end of this year, will take charge of St. Paul's Cathedral, Dunedin, during the whole of next year. He will relieve the:present vicar, Dean G. C. Cruickshank, who will leave for England early in the New Year. , • ! ~ Father T. Dwyer, of the Far JEjasjt Mission, who has been visiting "Wellington since his ordination- at Dalgan Park, Ireland, leaves tonight by the Wanganella for St. Columban's Cot lege, Essendon, Melbourne, to take up an appointment there.
