BRIDGE PARTY

Through the kindness of Mrs. Dennis in offering her home, a most enjoyable bridge and monopoly party was held on Monday by the Wellington branch, of the. Women's ..Division of the Farmers' Union. Between 60 and 70 guests were present, each of whom contributed willingly to the object of the gathering which was to further the community work of the organisation, which will, as a result, benefit considerably. \ Mrs. Goodsoh .(president) voiced the appreciation of the members to Mrs. Dennis for her hospitality and also thanked those who attended. Prizes donated by Mesdames Middleton and Goodson, were won by Mesdames Nash and Pointon. Special praise was given to Mesdames McKillop and Hodgins (daughters of the hostess) for their valuable help. A delicious tea was provided by Mrs. Dennis.
