The most interesting trials at Wingatui this morning were executed on the sand track, which provided excellent going. Moneyless and, Janet Gaynor were associated over a mile, the last seven furlongs occupying lmin 29 4-ssec. Janet Gaynor was in front at- the finish. . ■■

Valantua, Hanlon, and Pink Robe covered a mile in lmin 46sec, the firstnamed holding an advantage at the end. ■

Roseman was going better than Our Pal at the completion of six furlongs in lmin 17sec, and Gay Vixen and Atwa Rere slipped over half a mile in 50 2-ssec. High Glee was timed to traverse five furlongs in lmin 4 4-ssec.

Araboa, Hunting Chorus, Pilot's Love, Song Boy, and Half and Half were allotted useful work. Riding engagements announced for Kurow include:—H. J. Powell, Hanlon; R. J. Mackie, Remembo; A. Powell, Adina, Pink Robe.
