BOUNDARY CHANGES
"Some, ladies seem to think that these alterations in the electoral boundaries have been made for a sinister purpose, to help a political party, but that ;s not so," said Mr. R. A. Wright, Independent candidate for the Wellington West seat, at Northland last night. Mr. Wright explained that the law of the land required a commission composed of Government officials to readjust the boundaries every six years, because of increase in population in some districts and decrease in others. The electoral boundaries were changed for the sole and "express purpose of meeting changes in population.
