OLD LINEN NEEDED
DISTRICT NURSING GUILD
A meeting of the committee of the District Nursing Guild of St. John was held on Monday, Mrs. Balcombe* Brown, being in the chair. A hearty welcome was extended to Sister Tait, who commenced heir new duties on the staff early last month. Sister Collins stated that although she has received some gifts of clean old linen there was still an urgent need for more.
Thanks were expressed to the following for gifts in kind:—Mrs. Groves^ Mrs. Henry Hall, C. Smith, Ltd., anonymous (2), "Lower Hutt," Miss Hall, and Mrs. Horace Smith; and to the following for gifts in money:— Anonymous, Mrs- Barltrop, Mrs. A. Weir, Mrs. M. H. Pearson, Miss E. and E.W., Mrs. and Miss Mudie, M.H., Mrs. J. A. Doctor, Mrs. Bennett, Mr. J. B. E. Bennett, and Amwri Motors.
