FURTHER COMPLAINT
DENIAL BY JAPAN
(Received August 27, 10 a.m.) LONDON, August 26. The Chinese Embassy alleges that ft further Japanese gas attack took place at Juichang on August 23. (Received August 27, 10 a.m.) TOKIO, August 26. The War Office spokesman denies that the Japanese forces used poison gas, though a smoke screen of a harm* less nature possibly was employed. (British Official Wireless.) (Received August 27, 1 p.m.) RUGBY, August 26. The Chinese Ambassador has communicated to the Foreign Secretary, Lord Halifax, China's allegation that the Japanese in North Kiangsi are using poison gas. Geneva reports state that this Chinese allegation, at the request of China, has been communicated to all members of the League and to the Advisory Committee on the' Far East. _j _^
