Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated August 25, giving North Island frozen meat quotations (prices on a "delivered" basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, market tolls, etc.):— Down lambs, 28/361b 8d per lb, 36/421b 7 7-8 d; crossbred lambs, 28/361b 7|d, 36/421b 7fd; second quality lambs, average, 30/311b 7d; wether sheep, under 481b 5 l-Bd, 48/561b 4Jd, 56/641b 4 5-Bd, 64/721b 4id; ewes, under 481b 3 5-Bd, 48/561b 3£d, 56/641b 3d, 64/721b 2 7-8 d; New Zealand prime ox beef, none offering. Compared with last week's quotations: Down lamb, 28/361b id per lb higher, 36/421b : l-8d per lb higher; crossbred lamb, l-8d per lb higher; second quality lamb, id per lb higher; wethers, under 481b l-8d per lb higher.
