ISLAND BAY BAPTIST CHURCH

At yesterday morning's service at the Island Bay Baptist Church the pastor (the Rev. A. L. Silcock) referred to the fact that he had completed four years' ministry at Island Bay. In reviewing the work of the past four years • he stated that the membership had increased from 73 to 114. and 61 had been received into fellowship. Attendances at the services had shown a marked increase and the financial position was satisfactory. A branch had been opened at Houghton Bay and prospects were promising for good attendances at the church and school. The speaker appealed for continued co-operation and consecrated service.
