LADIES' AUXILIARY
RONGOTAI BOYS' COLLEGE
The ladies' auxiliary of Rongotai Boys' College held their annual meeting in the college gymnasium on Tuesday afternoon. There was a very large attendance, and an invitation was extended to all present to join the auxiliary. It was stated that it is the earnest wish of the committee to enlist the sympathy and help of all mothers of pupils, and that the prospects for the coming year's work are very good, as the new committee elected showed the same keenness that has characterised the committees of previous years. A review of the past year's work was submitted, and the balance-sheet disclosed a very sound and satisfactory position, giving a good indication of the thorough work done by the conveners and friends and of the generosity of the parents. ■
Mr. F. Martyn Eehner, headmaster, thanked the president, secretary, conveners, and friends for their untiring efforts in connection with the college, and'urged the auxiliary to strengthen the committee and still further to make an earnest endeavour to bring more friends to each meeting. Mr. Renner also dealt with other matters of interest to parents, and explained fully what effect the new educational proposals would have on the college.
The president thanked Mr. Renner for his address, and the • committee also thanked Mr. Renner for invitations to attend functions during the year, and for-his interest, advice, and help on all occasions. .' 5 • j
