NEW ZEALANDERS' ASSOCIATION
On Tuesday evening, in the Jewish Ladies' Club; • Cuba Street, the New Zealanders' Association commenced a series of social functions with a card party. There was quite a good attendance, and a very enjoyable evening was spent. Prizes for "500" were won by Mrs. Mclntyre and Mr. Griffiths, and priaes for euchre by, Mrs. Spencer and Mr. H. Peach. Consolation prizes for "500" and euchre were won by Miss Bennett and Miss Shearer. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. Moores, Mr. and Mrs. Furneaux, Mr. and Mrs. C. Mclntyre, Mr. and Mrs. H. Peach," Mr. and Mrs. J. Mulcahy, Mr. and Mrs. Gilmour, Mesdames Tracy, Hennah, Burnett,. Spencer, McKay, Whale, Tucker, McCarthy, the Misses Bennett (2), McFarlane, Shearer, and Messrs. Griffiths, Johns, Williams, Hotter, Winzar, Sissons, and Blockley.
