INFANTILE PARALYSIS

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day.

The second case of infantile paralysis within, a fortnight from, the Mahakipawa district was admitted to the Wairau Hospital last evening. The patient is a girl of twelve. ; The case has been diagnosed as positive, but the paralysis so far is not serious.

The Hon. P. Fraser, Minister of Education, who arrived this. morning by air to open the new Blenheim primary school, after conferring with the, chairman .of the Wellington Education Board, who ,is also here, announced that the Mahakipawa School would not i-eopen after the holidays in the' meantime. .
