BRAILLE CLUB

SUCCESSFUL BRIDGE PARTY

The Wellington. Braille Club held a, most successful bridge party in the Elm Tea Rooms,: Willis Street, last night. There was a very large attendance of members and friends who' always rally round to support this very deserving cause. The room, with its restfui ideep orange and, green colourings and shaded lamps, w?js well chosen for such a party. Many o* the players afterwards made donations, as did others who were unable to attend. A savoury supper was served.

The hostesses who received the guests were the club president (Mrs. M., Gordon), Mrs. J. R. Boyd (secretary), Mrs. W. Duff, Miss Mead, and Miss R. Van Staveren. .. '
