AN ACQUITTAL

DUNEDIN, May 7.
In the Supreme Court today John Reid, aged 58, retired schoolmaster, was found not guilty on three charges arising out of an alleged attempted indecent assault on a boy of thirteen years. . ;
The.jury, which deliberated for four hours,'added the following rider: "It is the opinion of the jury that the accused ' should, be kept . under strict supervision by his family."
