ANDREWS—HAMMILL.

The Wesley-Methodist Church, Petone, was charmingly decorated re-, cently: for the wedding of Ararua Hazel Hammill, fifth daughter of Mr. T. C. Hammill and the late Mrs. Hammill, of Ashburton, to Arnold Garnet Andrews, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Andrews, of Petone. The Rev. E. E. Sage officiated, and Mrs. Maud i played the wedding music. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a lovely gown, of cream magnolia satin. The bodice tucked/into a V-shaped yoke was finished high at the neck with tiny revers and buttoned down the back with small covered buttons. The full raglan sleeves were tucked into small bands at the Wrists, and the long fanshaped train fell from: a godet at the back of the skirt. The beautiful lace veil lent by Mrs. Williams, was held in place-by a coronet of orange blosr som. The bride carried a sheaf of cream1 lilies and gladioli. The two bridesmaids, Miss Iris Hammill (Christchurch) and Miss Gloria Andrews, were frocked alike in apple green cloque crepe made with full sleeves to the' elbows, and fully flared skirts falling into graceful trams at the back. Pink velvet flowers trimmed the V-shaped necks and the green haloes worn by the bridesmaids, and their sashes were of pink matching velvet. Sheaves of pink gladibli and maidenhair fern were carried. . The flower girl, Lilah Fell (niece of the bride), was dressed in a, pink frock with pleated skirt. The bodice was trimmed with velvet flowers and a silver belt'was worn. Her posy was of pink sweetpeas. The best man was Mr. Arthur Andrews, of Pahiatua, and Mr. Arthur Hammill was groomsman. The ushers were Mr. S. Hepplestone and Mr. J. Constable. -

Mrs. Fell, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Andrews received the guests, who numbered about 130, at.the Masonic Hall, Petone. Mrs. Fell wore a navy blue stitched taffeta fingerlength coat over her floral frock, and a white straw hat trimmed with navy. Mrs. Andrews wore a wine ensemble of cloque crepe and a smart matching hat of wine straw. They both carried bouquets of carnations and maidenhair fern. .

The bride travelled in a { navy blue costume with a pink satin Hungarian blouse, and a navy hat and accessories. ' .'■..'.'■
