NORTON—BALDWINSON.

i Gwen'eth Adelaide, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Baldwinson, Wellington, was married recently at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Willis Street, to Arnold William; younger son of Mr. and Mrs. Norton,-(South Canterbury). The Rev. W. Tye was the officiating minister and Mr.Shortt was the organist.

The bride, .who was escorted into the church, by her father, wore a model gown of off-white diagonal cloque, cut on classical lines, falling from a point at the back of the skirt to form a long train. The beautiful embroidered veil 'which formed the .second train . was held in place by a halo of pleated tulle and orange-blossom. A shower1 sheaf of white roses, completed a charming ensemble. The bride's attendants were Miss Eileen Biggs and little Pamela Stone. ; The former was wearing a: graceful'frock of shell-pink wool lace over, satin, which was .also cut on classical lines, flaring from the knees to form a train. A large picture _ bat was w.orn arid a shower sheaf of deeper pink roses was carried. The latter, who was.;.'flower-girl, wore, a dainty long frock; of pink stiffened net frilled from, the waist to the hem, and carried a Victorian posy of pink rosebuds. . Mrs. Baldwinson was wearing a navy blue ensemble and hat', with-touches of dusky pink and-a shoulder-spray to tone. During the evening much appreciated items were given by Miss U. Thomas, Mr. Syd Handyside, and Mr. D. Roache. - When Mr. and Mrs A. Norton left for the north-the bride was wearing a beige ensemble with nigger brown accessories.
