TOOMER—FORRESTER.

The wedding was solemnised at St. James's Church, Lower Hutt, by the Rev. H. E. K. Fify, of Dorothy Mary, only, daughter of Mr. and Mrs A. Forrester, of Guthrie Avenue, Lower Hutt, and Harold Harry, second son of Mr. H. Toomer and the late Mrs. Toomer, states the "Post's" Hutt correspondent.

The-bride, escorted by her- father, wore a gracefully trained frock of ivory cloque. Both back and front of the bodice were gathered to a dia-mond-shaped centre panel, secured at the lower back by a narrow strap running up to the neckline.. .The frock was fashioned with tight sleeves fitting to. the wrist, and a low double - collar of the. cloque, fastened \at the front with a sprig of orange-blossom. A coronet of the blossom held the veil of white tulle, and she carried a bouquet of Madonna lilies and maidenhair, relieved with touches of pink.

The bridesmaids, Miss Clarice Wack'row (Johnsonville), Miss Violet Toomer. (sister of the bridegroom), and the flower-girl, Betty Forrester Campbell, wore shell-pink frocks modelled- after the same manner as the bride's. Flower haloes were worn, and bouquets in shades of pink with touches of blue were .carried. Mr. Len Forrester was best man,: and Mr. Ronald Toomer groomsman.,, The reception was held in the R.S.A. club rooms, where cyclamen-shaded asters sustained the pink motif of the table decorations. The guests were received' by Mrs. Forrester,' Who wore midnight blue satin and lace .with a satin hat of the same toning. Present at the reception were Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Forrester, Mr. and. Mrs. W.
