The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated February 27, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London:—

Sisal.—Market firmer; good business has been done. March-May shipments sold up to £29 10s; closing values for April-June shipments, £29. New Zealand. —Small business has been done. "Common," £23 15s to £.24 Peas.—Maples: Market quiet. "A" grade Tasmanian for February-March shipments sold 58s Gd; March-April shipments, 57s 6d. New crop New Zealand: Small business has been done March-April shipments, 54s to 54s 6d.
