KARORI CLUB GAMES
-The singles championship of the Karori Bowling Club has been won oy H D. field, who beat T. Adams, 21-13, in the final game. Field well deserved, the' honour as he has been runner-up on several occasions. He will defend the singles championship' for Karori in the centre competition. _ In the club, rinks championship the teams left : are G.'G< McFarlane, R. Thomson, G. Gapes, and. G. Crawford, and W.'Thorn, H. Townley, F. Christenson, and H. D. Field. The former team has'-not lost-a- game- this, season and goes into the final with two lives: Field's team has one life. In the pairs championship Thorn and Field are to play Wilkinson and Cooper; the.winners are then to play the final" against Platt and Dempster. At the last, committee meeting, a pair of bowls was presented to the club by Mr, William Bradnock, nephew of the late Mr. William Bradnock,' who was a foundation member of the club.
