DUNEDIN, February 25.

A special committee of the Otago Hospital Board which considered the .estimates for the coming financial year announced at tonight's meeting of the board-that the expenditure considered necessary during the next twelve months would, entail an increased burden of £2500 on the ratepayers, due to an estimated increase in maintenance costs brought about by the increased cost of living and the recent Government .legislation. .
