C. Fairman is busy purchasing, suitabe horses- to race-at 'Perth and ?Ader, jaide'. He has secured Homeward,. Sunny Morn, and Gunmetal, and is negotiating .for two other pacers. Homeward is a speedy mare with a mile record of 2min 9 4-ssec, and at the recent August Meeting at Addington she won a two-mile race in 4min 29 3-ssec. Sunny Morn should prove an exceptionally good horse at Perth. He has registered 4min 18 2-ssec for two miles in a race, and, in addition to winning several sprint events in fast time, he has a race record of 3 mm 14 4-ssee for a mile and a half. He is a stout-looking gelding, is a reliable beginner, and he' can pace on small tracks. He is an adept in heavy ground. Gunmetal is a good, solid type of gelding who has won several races. He is a dependable racehorse, and off his mark he should win races in Australia.
