HOUSE MATCH

An enjoyable cricket match was played at the KJlbirnic Reserve on Saturday afternoon between the staff ,and the workshop of Messrs. Wright, Stephenson, and Co., Ltd., motor department. Ihe game was won by Workshop by six wickets. Workshop 117 and 92 for four wickets (Larcombe 34, and 14 not out, Ruddick 19 and 31, Joy 16 and 24) defeated Staff 79 and 115 for eight wickets, declared (Davenport 11 and 30, W. C. Wells 12 and 23, K. V.. Paul 20, J. Drysdale 20, F. R. Craig 15). Bowling for Workshop, Smith took four wickets for 27 and three for 47, Joy two for 24 and four for 48. For Staff, Paul took three for 25, Davenport two for 17 and one for 10, and <Craig two for 21. •
