APOLLO WOMEN'S CLUB

There was a good attendance at the meeting of the Apollo Women's Club, held recently at the University Women's Clubrooms, and new members were welcomed. Mentiqn was made of the good work done on behalf of the Apollo music fund.

Miss Erica Baillie gave an interesting talk on "Flowers and Gardening." She described several gardens ' seen during her stay in England and Scotland, mentioning the preference in most homes for sunken gardens. Miss Mclhdoe gave much pleasure with pianoforte solos, and Miss Pearl Janes sang charmingly. Supper was served. ' ..
