TALK ON DRESSMAKING

Mrs. B. L. Dallard presided over a very good attendance' at the receni meeting of the central branch. Mrs Dallard referred to the sad loss tb" league had sustained in the passing of Mrs. Ena Dawson, the members standing in silence for one minute. Notice of the annual meeting was given, Mrs. Dallard expressing her desire to see a full muster of members present. Solos were given by Mrs. Solle and Mrs. Burg, Mrs. Gettings- playing the accompaniments. A very instructive address and demonstration of pattern cutting -was given by Miss Übrick. A very hearty vote of thanks to the speaker was carried. Tea was served by Mesdames Gent, West, Outrim, and Hedges.
