Quick scoring marked the match between Hospital and Petone. Conditions for play were good. The following were the teams:— Hospital.—Wyatt; Thompson, Miles; Todd, Jeffries, Symon; Gibb, Briggs, Webster, Stambridge, Woods. Petone.—Boddy; McLeod, Haines; M. White, Cullen, Smith; J. White, Leslie, Diamond, Berrall, Craig. Petone kicked off and Briggs (Hospital) scored after five minutes' play, Webster scored shortly afterwards, making the score Hospital 2, Petone 0. Both goals were attacked in quick succession, Gibbs getting away on tho right for Hospital and crossed to Webster, who Scored, making Hospital 3-0. Leslie (Petone) narrowly missed with a header following a corner. Hospital broke away and Todd scored from thirty yards out. Hospital 4, Petone 0. Todd put Hospital further ahead with another good shot. Hospital 5, Petone 0. Briggs then scored, making the score 6-0 at half-time. On the resumption of play Todd and Woods scored for Hospital. Hospital 8, Petone 0. Stanbridge then put Hospitalfurther ahead by scoring another goal. Leslie next scored twice in quick succession, and the final score was: JlaasitaL &
