GOOD WORK DONE

WOMEN'S HELP AT HOSPITAL

The Wellington Hospital Ladies' Auxiliary met at the Public Hospital recently, Mrs. J. C. Webb (president) presiding. :

The representative of the Brooklyn League of Mothers (Mrs. Porteous) was welcomed, her league having newly affiliated with the auxiliary. •

It was regretted that such a poor response had been made to Miss Gordon's appeals for comforts for ailing mothers.

■ It was decided that in future the meetings would be held every second month. •

A tribute was paid to Mrs. O'Leary and her assistants on the splendid work they were doing, in the hospital library—a very necessary branch of voluntary work. :
