RICHARDSON— WYNN-WILLIAMS.

At St. Mary's Church, Merivale, yesterday afternoon, the marriage was celebrated 01 Herbert Edward, only son of Mr. S. E. Richardson, Repton Street, and of the late Mrs. Richardson, and Prudence Lydia, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Wynn-Wil-liams, St. Albans Street, states the "Christchurch Star-Sun." The Rev. A. K. Warren conducted the service, and Mr. A. Worsley was organist. ~ Mr. T. Harrison was best man.

The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a gown of magnolia georgette. The bodice had a flared collar finished with a soft bow in front, and long sleeves trimmed With tiny buttons. A girdle of the material finished the waistline. Her veil of limerick lace was mounted on mag-nolia-tulle, and she carried a bouquet of magnolia-tinted • roses. There were four bridesmaids, Misses. Sally and Lucy Wynn-Williams, Nan Salmond, and Joan Hamilton. Their- dresses of apricot-shaded georgette were printed in a wild-rose design and patterned with gold thread, and .were mounted on pink. Sashes of apple-green velvet matched their velvet shoes- and their twisted bandeaux were of two shades of green georgette. They carried Victorian posies of pink sweet peas and carnations. .

A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, where Mr. and Mrs. Wynn-Williams received the guests. For travelling, the bride wore a navy and white ensemble. The skirt

of plain navy wool georgette had a navy and white spotted blouse, and a small navy cape. ,Her navy hat was trimmed with navy and white ribbon, and she wore a spray of red roses.
