WATERSIDE WORKERS
The biennial conference of the Waterside Workers' Federation of New Zealand is to be held in Lyttelton, beginning on December 5.- It is expected that the conference will last ten or twelve days.
Blackpool Transport Department employees are to have longer holidays, with pay, for the efficient way they are serving the public. During the year recently ended, the income of the department was £426,000—a profit of £47,074.
