YOUTH DROWNED

INVERCARGILL, This Day.
Alexander Beange, aged 18. lost his life on Saturday afternoon while bathing in the Aparima River with two companions. He dived in and came up struggling and then sank. A companion who went to his assistance was rescued with difficulty.
