The M.C.C.'s Board of Control has allotted three three-day Test matches to New Zealand in 1937 at Lords, Manchester, and the Oval. They as well as the Indians next year will be allotted four days for the filial Test if the rubber depends upon it. GENEROUS ACTION VICTORIAN CRICKETERS MELBOURNE, November 20. The M.C.C. team's captain, E. R. T. Holmes, in an interview, said he expected to retire from the captaincy of Surrey after the next English season, adding, "Amateur cricket is an expensive pastime."
