.The match between the M.C.C. eleven and South Australia was continued yesterday, M.C.C. in the first innings making 371. • The highlight of the Closure of the English innings was Waite's deadliness; he took the last three wickets with successive balls.' The visitors added only 67 runs to the first day's total* and the innings lasted 363 minutes. South Australia made a weak start, the recognised batsmen being back in the pavilion when only-163 was posted. Langridge and Sims made . the batsmen fight.
