AUSTRALIANS AT JAMNAGAR

JAMNAGAR, November 10.
The Australian cricketers played a two-day match, which resulted in a draw, against a Jamnagar eleven. The weather was very hot. Macartney captained the Australians, who lost the toss. ■-..'- •
. Jamnagar, in the first innings, made 158 (Gurtu 15, Meherhonji 21, Manilal 42, Wensley 26). Oxenham took five wickets for 32; Ironmonger, two for 36. Manilal batted superbly, pulling and square-cutting.,
In their second innings Jamnagar made 128 for six wickets (Manilal 40; Oxenham two for 21, Ironmonger two for 19; Nagel two for 35).
Australia made 315 for nine wickets, declared (Wendel Bill 47, Allsopp 33, Macartney 106 retired, Oxenham 24, Bryant 53; Gurtu three for 25).
'■■ Macartney batted 127 minutes and hit twelve 4's and two 6's.
