SHANDON' CLUB
- The Shandon Club closed the 1935 winter season with a mixed foursome bogey competition on Saturday afternoon. The winners were Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Brown, who finished I'do.wn. The president of the club, Mr. C. H. Andrews, referred to the continued progress the club was making. He paid a tribute to the cateress and the members of the staff for the. good work they, had done during the year. Mr. Andrews added that an attractive summer programme had been arranged. The prizes won during, the past season were then presented by Mrs. Andrews. ■
A bogey competition yesterday was won by S. G. Pearce (18), with 2 up. £>. Digby (9) was 1 up, E. B. Dymock (18), all square; J. N. Millard (12), 1 down.' : :"
A fourball besfc-ball event was won by R, Cbmerford (7) and H. H. McL. Elliott (4), with 6 up. Entries for the Summer Cup close next Saturday.
