The Mornington Club closed the 1935 season with a mixed Canadian foursome, which was won by Miss Kilworth and L. J. Evans. Miss • Taylor and W. .Coy tied, but lost on the count back.j . . i . .
Aii 18-hole stroke competition 'was won by G. King with 84, 21—63, the next best being E. Swinson, 76, B—6B. and C E. Petersen, 85, 16—69.
The pitching and- putting competitions were won by Mrs. R.- Noble in the women's section and L. F. Barton in the men's section.
• Mr. J. D. Sievwright, the president of the club, presented the prizes won during the season, and commented on the progress the club had made and on the generous support the club was given by various donors of prizes, also on the work done, by the members, of the committee. ■ In the play-off of the secretary's trophy,'C. E. Petersen beat L. J. Nicolson. -■■.'•" , The summer season will commence next weekend.
