Golden Dart, who heads the weights for the Apprentices' Handicap at Riccarton on Saturday, did his last racing at the Geraldine Meeting, where he was a winner on the first day. He is a six-year-old son of Arrowsmith and the brilliant Finland mare Fmera. Grand Review was just beginning to drop down in the weights, when she came out at Rangiora on Labour Day and won the final event with 8.9. reduced to 8.4 by an apprentice allowance. As a result she has gone back to top the list for the Linwood Handicap on Saturday. Prior to her recent success she had been o(T the winners' list for fifteen .months. Haut Monde will be ridden in the Stewards" Handicap by J. A. McFarlane. and Silver Streak definitely by B. H. Morris. Tout lo Monde's Cup rider will be A. C. Messervy, and Vanestep's will be R.
