ATTACHMENT TO PARTY
"I do not believe in that false and spurious opportunism which seeks popularity by blaming the Government for present conditions. I prefer to attach myself, to the only party in the country which has a proper regard for the finances of. the country, and the necessity for maintaining budgetary equilibrium." This declaration was made last night by Mr. O. C. Mazengarb, Nationalist candidate for Wellington East, when addressing a meeting of electors at St. Jude's Hall, Lyall Bay.
