UPPER HUTT CLUB

The Upper Hut Rifle Club fired another practice shoot on Saturday over a range of 600 yards. With a strong wind varying from left to right, and a changeable light, the conditions were the worst experienced so far this season. The conditions were reflected in the scores, among the best of which were B.^ Dunn and D. Purvis, 44, H. Whiteman 43, and A. Scott 41. Detailed results:— D. Purvis 43 44 87 H. Whiteman 41 43 84 A.Scott 39 41 80 B. Dunn 33 44 77 R. McKendry, 39, 31—70; H. Pelling, 33. 34, 67; J. Johnston, 33, 32—65. Next Saturday the range will be 800 yards.
