MAORI RUGBY TEAM

ARRIVAL IN SYDNEY

(Received July 6, 12.30 p.m.) j SYDNEY, This Day. The Maori Rugby team arrived by the Wanganella today. The manager, Mr. Kingi Tahiwi informed the New Zealand Press Association that , the members of the team were all in high spirits and the best of health. They had a good trip across the Tasman Sea.

The tourists were to attend the Rugby Union reception this morning and a practice this afternoon. They will leave for Queensland on Monday and will play their first match at Warwick on Wednesday.
