WIGGINS MEETS VOITRE

Writing to an Auckland friend from Melbourne. H. N. Wiggins, who is on his way to India, states that during his stay in Sydney he went to the Canterbury Park races and tnet a number of New Zealanders, including M. McCarten. On his arrival in Tytelbourne he'was welcomed by K. Voitre, who, in spite of his quick rise to fame, remained as natural and unspoiled as ever. Voitre was keen to travel abroad and had received an introduction to a leading English owner.
