MORATORIUM ON MATURITIES
EXCHANGE DETERIORATION
(Received June 25, 2.15 p.m.) ! ' BERLIN, June ; 24. The Minister of National Economy, j Herr Schacht, has declared a complete moratorium on all maturities arising ' from Germany's medium and long-term foreign obligations for America: and other countries with which Germany has no clearing or transfer agreement. The moratorium does not affect British creditors, and will operate' from July 1 for a year. ■ : ■ •
The action is attributed, to the, deterioration in the exchange situation.
