OPEN RACE AT PETONE
An open race from Petone to tha Brown .Owl and back was held by ths Petone Amateur Road Cycling Club. The results were as follows:—
Barker (Poneke), 'smin, 1; Robson (Poneke), 3min, 2; Sinclair (Port Nicholson), 3min, 3. Fastest times: T. Roe (Petone), 1; K. Wilson (Port Nicholson), 2; O. Disley (Port Nicholson), 3. A junior race over 15 miles resulted: Bold (6min), 1; Kay (6min), 2; Smithers (2miri), 3. Time, 44min 40 2-ssec. Fastest times: Stevens, 1; Smithers, 2; Biggs, 3. Time, 40min 41sec.
