TOURIST LINER
VISITORS FROM AUSTRALIA
The' fourth large tourist, liner to visit the IDorninion this summer, the Orient Line's 2p,000-ton steamer Otrarito, arrived;-", at- Auckland yesterday from Brisbane. She will leave Auckland at midnight" tonight for Wellington/ 'She is due here, about 9 a.m. on Saturday, and is to leave for Sydney at 7 a.m. on Sunday/ The success of cruises to New Zealand from the-Commonwealth has been considerable; and the Qtxant'o is bringing some 800 visitors from. Australia. Many of them have never been to New Zealand before. : . J
The Otranto's cruise commenced at Melbourne on January 28, and she called at Sydney arid' Brisbane on her way to New Zealand. . : ; ,
A number of the tourists will visit Eotorua and other sight-seeing places, and will travel overland to Wellington. .••••-'
The Otranto will be open for public inspection here on Saturday from &30 to 4.30 p.m. A small, charge, will be made for admission, and -the proceeds will be handed to the Shipwreck Relief Society and the Missions to Seamen Institute.
A reception is to be held on board the liner on Saturday between 11 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. Invitations "have already been sent out for this reception. ..< ,;..l ,-,...
