An association of long standing with the Wairarapa ana <Levin s aistricts was broken on Monday by the aeath of Mrs. Christina Murray, of-Levih. She was born in the Lower Wairarapa Valleyv in 1859, ana spent her early girlhooa at Kopuaranga where her father (tho late Mr. James Harvey) was farming. She leaves a family, comprising Mr. Harvey Murray (Shannon) and Mesaames L. W. Fleteher (Levin), F. N. Fletcher (Levin), ana A. Bona <Tokomaru).
