TECHNICAL COLLEGE CLOSING

It was stated by Mr. R. G. Kidling, director of the Wellington Technical College, at a meeting of tho Board of Governors on Monday, that H.R.11. the Duke of Gloucester would reach Wellington on December 15, whereas the college under ordinary conditions would close on December 14. He recommended that the college be not closed until December IS; this -would enable the students to take part in the children's demonstration at Newtovni Park on December 13. Mt. Ridling's suggestion was approved of by the board.
