Acceptances for the New Zealand Cup and Stewards' Handicap, also forfeit for the Welcome Stakes, Derby, and Oaks, and nominations for the minor events at the Canterbury Jockey Club's Metropolitan Meeting, are due at S o'clock on Friday evening.

Nominations for the Auckland Cup, Railway Handicap, and other main events at the Auckland Racing Club's Summer Meeting, are due at 5 o'clock .on Friday.

S. Wilson's application for a riding licence will be considered by the Racing Conference executive on Friday evening, and if it, is successful "Wilson will be riding Hazoof at Trentham on Saturday, and probably also iv the New Zealand Cup.

Semper Paraius, who is* engaged in the Waimii Handicap at Trentham on.Saturday, will be coming across from Blenheim tomorrow, and he will go into T. R. George's stable, where ho will remain after the meeting. He is owned by Mr. C. 0. T. Rutherford, and he has done no racing for over twelve months.

McGovern, stated that his withdrawal was due to the fact that they have decided to send him to Australia. The date of Impasto's departure has not been announced yet, but it is likely to be in the very near future.

The two-year-olds Fairfax and Singara were allowed to run along up the .straight while, the candidates for the Welcome Stakes were doing their preliminaries at Kllerelic last Saturd.-iy.
