A FAIRY HALF-CROWN
"I am a half-crown living in FairyBluebell's purse. I am sure you would like to know my adventures. One day tho fairies went to the houses where the ' Children-Who-Always Pull-Teeth-Out' live.
The fairies gathered all the silver paper off tho eggcups and left one penny in each. With the silver paper they made me. On Christmas morning they dropped me into a very poor little girl's stocking. At one© she ran to a shop and bought food for her mother. I was handed to the skopmau and very soon I was given to a. very Tick gentleman, who gave me to his daughter. She was very delighted, and at once bought a doll with me. Then, lof course, I was given to the shop lady, who put me in. her cash register. Presently, in; came a boy, who asked for me, for change..' As soon as he had mo in his hands he asked a friend of his to have a game of marbles. There was Quite a big argument as to whom.(should go first. , . •■ .;■ . .'■ In the end the boys decided to, "toss up." As soon as I'was in the: air instead of going back to the ground I flew to Fairyland. And her« I am. I livo a very happy life with, "Fairy; Bluebell." - . . • . <<SEABIED": (10). Eastbourne. ; '
