LYALL BAY BOWLING CLUB

The second annual dance of the Lyall Bay Bowling Club was held in the Taia Hall, Kilbirnie. The function was a great success, about 00 couples being present. Mr. H. Grondin made a capable M.C. and a variety of new novelty dances interested the guests.

Before the supper' adjournment, the president, Mr.- G. H. Noacl, expressed thanks, on behalf of the committte, for the wonderful support accorded the function. Mrs. NoacT (who.was in. black velvet) received a handsome bouquet presented by Mr. B. 0. Cull on behalf of the social committee. Special praise: is due to the ladies' committee for the excellent supper arrangements. -•'

Miss Alexaudci- won the special corn--petition of the president. An orchestra under the leadership of Mr. C. Parsons provided delightful dance music. '• Among those present : were Mr. and Mrs. G. H.
