KILBIRNIE, SCHOOL
Those who attended a dance held at JCilbirnie School were well rewarded by the excellent programme which had been arranged for their entertainment and enjoyment. ■, The band was in festive spirit, and both modern and old-time dances were repeatedly encored. The D 'Alberts were entered into with great zest, also the "Destiny Waltz," the "Gay Gordons" also proving very popular.
Those who contributed to the programme included Miss Edith Buckmaster (who sang two songs), and small pupils of Miss Hazel Martin, Judy Cooper and Keith Woollett, who gave a duo tap dance. Prizes were awarded to the winners of the different novelty dances.
The next dance will be a masked plain and fancy dress, particulars of which will be advertised.
